Events Equipment Inventory

What Is Available

Facilities Management and the University Events team has a select inventory of equipment available for staff and faculty use at events held on campus. Student organizations must have approval from an RUO (responsible university official) before borrowing equipment. Below is a list of the available inventory. To request equipment for your event, complete a Facilities Management Work Request Form as well as a SERA form and specify the event details (set-up/breakdown times, quantity, floor-plan, etc.). Please note that some equipment may require additional approval from the University Events team as noted below.

60″ Round Table

60in round table

Size: 60” round x 30” tall

Capacity: Seats 8 comfortably, can seat 10 chairs for a tighter fit

Use: Commonly used for cocktail-style seating
Inventory Quantity: You may only reserve 12 tables at a time

Staging

Inventory quantity: (4) 6’ x 8’ x 16” tall stage pieces
Steps: (1) without railing / (1) with railing
Black skirting: available with each stage piece to go around front of stage
Stage Surface:

  • Grey carpet for indoor use
  • Black surface for outdoor use

Curb Ramp

Inventory quantity: 30
Use: For crowd control and managing people flow.

  • Inventory is subject to change.
  • Items listed above are for on-campus use only.
  • All equipment must be reserved by a UTD staff or faculty member via the SERA form. Students are not permitted to reserve equipment and must have a staff or faculty member reserve on their behalf.
  • If your event is held in the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center, the available equipment may be different than what is listed above. Contact your event coordinator at the DGAC for more information.
