Before you begin planning your event, please review the official UTD policies relevant to your event.

For example, if you plan on serving alcohol, be familiar with the University Policy Concerning the Use of Alcoholic Beverages.

If your event is large, read through the policy on Emergency Preparedness, and if it’s after hours, be sure you have looked over the policy on the Security of Buildings and Facilities.

The Student Union has its own set of facility policies, and they can be found on the Student Organizations site.
